Winter Park Interior Renovation

This 70’s style home in Winter Park, FL was transformed into a home reminiscent of the movie Out of Africa. With authentic African colonial elements, Jonathan McGrath Construction renovated the home to something quietly elegant reminiscent of the lodges seen in east and south Africa. Nowhere does the custom nature of this renovation shine more than in the master bathroom which was renovated into a Zen-like luxury bath. A custom designed Japanese soaking tub was built (on site) with its water filler descending from a spout in the ceiling, positioned next to a nautilus shaped shower with frameless curved glass lined with stunning gold toned mosaic tile. Custom built cedar cabinets with a linen closet adorned with twigs as door handles. Gorgeous flagstone flooring and customized lighting accentuates this beautiful creation to surround yourself in total luxury and relaxation.

The highlight of the kitchen is an island with a banquette on one end and a prep area with vegetable sink on the other. A second banquette under the windows provides additional casual seating.
