Marion McGrath to be featured speaker at International Builder’s Show 2013

Marion McGrath, co-owner of Jonathan McGrath Construction and CEO of REMODology, has been selected as a speaker at the National Association of Home Builder’s (NAHB) International Builders’ Show in Las Vegas January 22 – 24, 2013.

McGrath will be conducting the workshop ‘Getting Paid for Your Time Even During Estimating, Building & Pre-Construction’ on behalf of REMODology on January 22^nd. The program will focus on how successful remodelers consider all aspects of the remodeling project before doing anything on the project site, and will provide expert advice about what points in the process you should ask for payment for your pre-construction time.

“REMODology was the brainchild of Stephen Gidus, who passed away recently from cancer,” explained McGrath. “It was his passion and purpose in life to unite the homeowner with professional remodeling firms in order to form a mutually rewarding and respectful partnership. His legacy lives on with this program.”

“Most professional remodelers mistakenly think all of the work in the pre-construction phase must be provided at no cost,” continued McGrath. “This session is about how to get paid for your time at every step of the way and feel comfortable about it.”

REMODology is a service that helps the homeowner make a more informed buying decision while the remodeler receives payment for time spent planning the project.
