Before

The new master bathroom in this Winter Springs home is luxurious with a large spa like shower, travertine tile and glass creating a modern flair. The original master bathroom vanity, sinks and tops were salvaged seamlessly blending new to old. The original master bathroom was converted to two walk-in closets (his and hers).

A total renovation and redesign created a modern flow and function along with maximizing the view of the lake and Orlando skyline of this Central FL home. The floors were raised eliminating the different levels allowing the same elevation throughout.

The kitchen was largely expanded with a spectacular tray ceiling and is the focal point of the home. Many green elements were incorporated as all new high energy efficient doors and windows were added and much of the original structure salvaged and incorporated into the newly renovated home.

A dated 1970’s cedar home in historic Sanford, FL was transformed into a beautiful french country style. A new front porch approximately 550 square feet was added along with three small dormers, one large gable and roof and cupola. The engineer wanted structural changes inside the home to include removing ceilings, adding microlams, posts and columns to hold up a new large gable end. The roof sheating was reworked with all of the structural changes done from the roof instead of going inside the home removing ceilings, adding microlams, posts and columns. A front porch was designed without moving or changing the size of the existing door and windows. In order to accomplish this, faux shutters were utilized to balance where there were no windows and dormers were added over all windows.

The project exceeded the goals of our client as the design change from before and after was dramatic as well as exciting.

The original small second story and roof structure of this Central Florida home was removed to allow for the new expanded addition. A luxury master bedroom suite, executive office, exercise room with bathroom and balcony overlooking the lake was created.

This allowed the first floor living area to be redesigned to maximize the lake view. This included removing a corner fireplace, adding an oversized window and raising the ceiling and replacing with coffered ceilings.

This two-story addition and interior renovation featuring a gorgeous summer kitchen captures the beauty of lakefront living. The ordinary 1970’s Altamonte Springs one story home was transformed into a key west theme year-round retreat which lends itself to open, casual living and entertaining.

The screen porch was replaced with a gorgeous summer kitchen and obstructed views were eliminated with motorized phantom screens that retract into the soffits all around the porch. Florida lakefront living at it’s finest.
